With an 8-ounce glass, start by pouring 1 1/2 ounces of root beer (or root beer extract). Next, add 1 ounce of sarsaparilla syrup, 1/2 ounce of anisette, and 1/2 ounce of vanilla extract. Stir the ingredients to combine the flavors.

Serve Your Sarsaparilla

Stir the sarsaparilla for a few more seconds, then serve. For an extra touch of whimsy, rim the glass with sugar or caramel sauce, then toss on sliced strawberries. Cheers!
